Direct Cremation has become a more popular type of funeral in recent years with many providers offering ever lower prices. I would urge anyone considering a direct cremation for a loved one to enquire where they will go prior to the cremation and where and when the cremation will take place.

One could also think about whether to chose not to have a service and not to attend the commital or not to have a service as such but have the opportunity to be present during the commital.
